Jamie Doherty is the founder, President and CTO of R2 Unified Technologies. Jamie launched R2 Unified Technologies in 2008, building it up from what once began as a services organization focused on Cisco’s VoIP, routing and switching components. Jamie helped transform R2 into an IT organization delivering converged voice and data networks, private and public cloud solutions, and managed services offerings. Jamie is responsible for aligning leading-edge technologies around R2’s service offerings and corporate strategy, committed to providing his customers with unparalleled design and implementation services of leading technologies to meet their evolving business requirements. He prides himself on focusing his business around superior customer service and continuous innovation.
Founding R2 Unified Technologies in 2008, the company has been widely recognized on a regional and national level for Jamie’s innovative visionary leadership. R2 has been consecutively awarded by Inc. magazine as one of Florida’s top technology partners, INC 500/5000 as one of the fastest-growing private companies and ranked no. 10 on South Florida’s Business Journal Fast 50 technical organization. Jamie’s passion doesn’t stop with his day job, currently, he plays active roles in Sofia’s Hope Charity as the Vice President of the board and coaches/plays soccer. Jamie also loves to play ice hockey with some of his colleagues and enjoys watching any Boston sports team. Outside of sports, Jamie smokes a mean brisket that R2 enjoys during the holidays.
